Last weekend the International Connection Team arranged an awesome weekend for us international students!
We went to ARCACHON BAY! It’s near Bordeaux, 5 hours away from Nantes!
We had to meet up at 6 am! What is ang aga?
We went to Dune de Pyla first. Isa siyang malaking sand dune sa gitna ng gubat! Ewan ko kung pano napunta lahat ng sand na yun sa iisang lugar. AS IN KABUNDOK NA BUHANGIN!
The Great Dune of Pyla (or Pilat) (French: la Dune du Pyla, or Pilat) is the tallest sand dune in Europe.[1] It is located in La Teste-de-Buch in theArcachon Bay area, France, 60 km from Bordeaux.

Intense umakyat, ok! Imagine we had to climb up sa top nung sand dune, then go down to the beach. THEN HELL BEGAN WHEN WE HAD TO CLIMB BACK UP AGAIN TO GET BACK TO THE BUS! GAD. Kala ko nga i-aair lift na ako para lang makabalik ng bus e.

Yulia from Russia! She’s really really nice and very easy to talk to.
After this grueling day we went to the camping site to put our things down and freshen up for dinner.
Ang cute nung bahay namin o.
Then after dinner, it’s party time of course!
We had pre-chauffe. Inuman muna before going to the club, ’cause drinks there are quite expensive. It was fun and we got to talk to a lot more international students and even members of the IC team!

Medj wild mga party dito at dahil may Pilipino Balyus kami umuwi na kami ng maaga! Oras na may nakita na kaming nagmmake-out, it’s time for us to go home! HAHA!
Next day, BIRTHDAY NI GEORGE! So we surprised him with Silly String and balloons!
Then we went to see more of Arcachon Bay!

We had a boat ride to go to another island.
We had some fresh oysters, pate and champagne!
Ok sana, e kaso nagkulang yung mga oysters. 
Tapos super kulang rin nung bread! May ibang tao kasi na naghorde e. Hindi tuloy nakatikim sila Iya, Natasha and Dianne.
Tapos sabi pa nila na yun na lang raw yung lunch namin! WHAT IS GUTOM TO DEATH!?
So when we got back to the main island hanap agad kami ng food!! Of course we ate delicious MOULE FRITES! But the catch is, we need to eat it super fast kasi we only had 30 minutes of free time! In fairness nakain namin in less than 10 mins!

We still had time for delicious gelato! Super yummy on a nice hot beach day!
Then we walked to the buses! Infair ang layo rin ng nilakad namin a! Pero keri lang, maganda naman yung views and fun yung mga tao!
Then it was back to the bus for another 5 hour ride back to Nantes! Nakabalik kami 12mn na. Super kapagod, but it was really really fun!
